Sports and activities

Hiking: Our Guest house is located only 500 meters away from the Orleans forest, the biggest French national forest. You will find there many trails of different length and difficulty, to walk under the trees. And if you'd rather walk along the rivers, there are also many trails near the Loire!.

Nautical activities: The 70 hectares Combreux lake is located in the heart of the Orleans forest, only 15 km away from our Bed & Breakfast. During the Summer, you will find there an area of supervised swimming, along with the possibility to practice several sports, such as wakeboard, kneeboard or water skiing. You could also go the Charlemagne island near Orleans, where you will find another set of activities, such as windsurfing or canoeing.

Horse riding: If you love horses, you are at the right place! There is a lot of equestrian centres in the Loiret, and several of them are located near our Guest house. Most of them offer horse riding lessons, and many also offer to ride in the forest, following some of the hiking paths.

Other sports and activities: There are as many as 8 golfs in the Loiret, the nearest 18-hole golf being located in Donnery. You can also find near Orleans activities such as karting, paintball or accrobranche (going from tree to tree, a few meters away from the ground).
